no pics im afraid , one red unit if the return system is piped up properly will supply a lot of fuel , how much fuel do you need ?
as for noise ? its in a rally car
makes no differance to me !!
but i must say that my high pressure FSE unit makes more noise than the low pressure unit , but cant say that the low pressure unit is noisy really

I was originally going to use two acet red tops to fill the swirl pot, and then a couple of Audi Quattro pumps to flow down the car.
I think there are far more people far better qualified on this subject, but I seem to remember that the return to the swirl pot has to be small to keep the system pressurised...........

Very simple and very good, just the one pump. Gravity fed into the accumulator.

My view on fuel systems have changed over the last few years. My old spec ran two in tank lift pumps that fed two high pressure pumps, so four in total. I did have one go down and tracking the fault was very time consuming.
My new spec uses an ally tank in the boot. The swirl pot / accumulator is actually part of the tank in a 2 litre sump type arrangement on the bottom of the tank. This then gravity feeds one high pressure fuel pump. All feeds and return are to the sump and the tank is obvioulsy baffled and foam filled.
In my opinion the advantages of this system are:
1. Its Simple, one pump, one tank, minimum amount of pipes and connections to leak etc.
2. Weight. As there are less bits there is less weight.
3. The accumulator / swirl pot will NEVER empty as it is directly fed by the tank on top of it through a 6" by 4" hole, so no lack of flow.
My views on less pups are in a multi pump setup, if one goes down your engine still gets SOME fuel, but probably only enough to make it run lean and melt. With a one pump system, if the pump stops, so does the engine as it simply runs out of petrol.
Here is a picture of Broms tank which is similiar to mine:

You can se the sump there at the bottom and the gravity feed to the one aeromotive pump. Don't worry about the seperate silver cossy pump, this is a seperate fuel system for the NOS setup.

do non of you track day people worry about safety ?, what i mean is say applying a few of the rules that apply to motorsport for the fuel safety side, tanks being covered, roll over valves , breather syatems etc etc , as you do take part in a form of motorpsort , and in the event of a large accident
