Error Downloading Codecs

Trying to play a movie in windows media player 9

cant remember how i solved the problem ages ago

anyone help me out?

use divX or sumink similar to watch the program in.

firewall not letting media player access the web?

videolan (www.videolan.org) this player plays everything mate
