Default www.pardeepbhachu.com Guitar Lessons Anyone?

Howdy all

As some of you know i'm currently in the middle of getting a website done for my own portfolio but also to help other learn more on guitar. Weather its beginners who just want to play a few chords and jam out some simple songs or you want to learn to play stuff like Metallica's Kirk Hammett, Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci or Paul Gilbert. My lessons will break down certain elements of different styles of music and i'll have them posted up on my new youtube channel which will be linked to my personal website in the Media section.

However, just got the design of the site finished (where my signature has also appeared from) and would like a opinion on the design. The theme was Dark and the colours of the site had to play a big part. So i decided on Purple, Black, Gray and White.

http://www.thebloodline.co.uk/develo...pardeepbhachu/

^ main site design. Still needs info added and all the others so please excuse the foreign language lol

My main URL is www.pardeepbhachu.com which has a holder page with my Logo

Thanks Everyone

The design has absolutely nothing in common with the content of your website.

Read my post and you'll see i've mentioned that this site is mainly my portfolio and the Guitar lessons bit will be under Media linked to my new youtube channel. Still loads of work needs to be done but the site design is complete.

Well as i've been doing loads of session work, portfolio has to be simple. Pics, Audio work, Videos from live gigs etc.

You gotta show the people interested in hiring musicians that you have knowledge of music theory cos when you go into record, they just want you to get the job done, pay you and leave. So knowing music theory is crucial cos any hesitation and they'll fire you there and then. So giving lessons through my site will show my knowledge on music theory as well as giving lessons on theory.

Pictures are essential as if they were to ask you to play a Live show they want to see the image you have so they can put you on stage with them. Being dressed in torn clothing will not land you a live gig with a Jazz band.

Alot going on

To be honest, i totally understand starter kits but i personally think that having a good guitar to start off with and a good amp keeps you inspired. The sound of the guitar is very important. You have a crap sound, you don't feel like playing.

ESP do a good starter pack though
