The T66 is finally on and running **Video**
After many a blood swear and even more tears she is finally on!
don't worry about the noise it's curently running off a very short piece of down pipe got to take off to have the exhaust modifed and a screamer pipe made going to have it coming out just under the drivers side arch (nicked the idea off Fudgey on here)
Still plenty to do and the engine bay needs a good clean and tidy and gotta phone MSD for a chip to run my Siemens 83lb's.

Unfortunately the engine is not built for 700hp i'm afraid as my budget won't quite strech to that!
I was going for a genuine 500hp maybe as high as 600hp, but money has kind of dried up at the moment so the 1.06 exhaust housing came off in favor of .68 for the time being.
The head is still standard bar a pair of BD10's and the bottom end is a 200 Block with low comp pistons.
I got the turbo and tubular exhaust manifold a bargain price thats more to do why I got them rather than properly specing it to the engine.
So i'm just gonna run it as it is right now until I can afford the head work, no idea how it'll run probably very laggy but I don't mind.

vid wont work for me, but then, the internernet is slow as feck for me at the mo too...
that looks quite beastly mate!!
and fair play on the screamer lol. only reason i put it there was cos the body shop didnt paint the jacking cover.
still, it looks good too lol

Thats a BIG turbo !
May I ask though if your only aiming for 500hp then why use something that is totally wrong for the job ?
500hp is T4 or even better GT3076 territory and I'll assume would give a much nicer curve than that beast is going to !

A mate of ours ran a T61 with supposedly all the right bits (full engine build by bluesprint) and it was such a laggy pig, worse thing he ever did to his cossie imo! Supposedly 600bhp and when it finally came on boost it was quick but just such a hard car to drive fast, much lower powered cars would kill it in reality on the road.
