Default RL7 People....

Do these wheels have inserts or not? having never had a set of inserts im not sure what im looking for. If not, what bolts do I need? Never bought wheel bolts before, what would I need. The bolts I currently have seem to do the job but ive got an odd number of odd bolts want a full new set.

Mine had inserts i knocked them out and used alloy wheel nuts, the ones where the bit that mates to the wheel stays still while you tighten the nut, if that makes sense.

The ones in the pics do have inserts in . Do you not find leaving the inserts in puts a grove in the washer part of the nut ?

There just the standard inserts that come with the wheels, get yourself some nuts with the washer thing on and drop one in the hole and see how the wheel taper matches the nut taper, it may be fine with the insert in but mine was better with them out. You need the same nuts either way .

Glad to hear some people know what you’re talking about, TBH I have no idea about these inserts ( is it something to do with the spigot ring), I have some RL7’s on my car but all I’ve used are the wheels, longer wheel studs and new standard ford bevelled wheel nuts.
