sorted cheers.
need to know what one is the switched live on the ignition barrel on a s1.cant turn it on to check as im nearly done wiring it up.got four connections.
thick red
yellow
two blacks
1 black
im guessing yellow but want to be on the safe side.cheers in advance
i will go hunt google in the mean time.

Think yellow is accesory but may be wrong, generally on a Ford blacks are switched lives?
Use a multimeter, check for conitunity between RED and the other pins with the key in the on position.
