cabriolet cuts out when idling and when go to rev???

hi everyone i bought a cab 3 weeks ago was running great but now starts up and if dont rev to over 3000 revs for 30s will stuggle then cut out and wont rev when go to rev it and even when do that leave it idling for 3 minutes it will struggle then cut out, when reving can here it missing but have serviced it, also put new ht leads and coil pack on but aint made a diffrence, so i was thinking it could be somert to either do with the fuel or air not getting through properly,

please could somone help me would be much appriciated

hi there its a mk6 1996 1.8 zetec 130 psi also when unplug maf sensor idles perfect

check everywhere for air leaks

yes checked everywere for air leaks also changed the maf sensor but still doesnt work

leave the maf unplugged then ? i did that on my mondeo, noticed a 2 mile drop per gallon, and the performance got better

cant cause when unplug it and go to drive it it judders on aceleration
