Default Removing heater matrix pipes

I have removed the heater matrix and am kinda wondering what to do with the outlet on the thermostat housing can I blank this off completey or does the water still need to circulate in that direction.

So just make an alloy pipe that runs round the back of the engine and plumbs back in to the hoses (rather than going through the heatermatrix).

If the heater matrix was T'd off as such from the rear water hoses then just blank that off and the one on the stat, if it appears it uses that to flow water from the stat back into the block then it should really be connected if there isn't anywhere else for the water to go (which is unlikely)
