My car got police aware sticker on, what to do
Its a car I have bought as a right off I need to put a headlight and bumper on it get it VIC tested moted then I can use or sell it. I thought our cul de sac car parc was private so put it in there while I do the work and noticed this morning its got a police aware sticker on it.
What do I have to do to stop it getting towed

Ok so its not a private road but its my parking space in the car park?? there are some moaning old biddies round here so more than likely one has reported it.
I have tucked the front in to a hedge lol so ou cant see its damaged, just a different car that people are not used to and not moved for a week
will get on to the police

If its parked on public roads mate then the police have every right in lifting it. The only time they cant touch you is if the car is on your driveway or locked up in a garage matey

st170 breaking
put a sign in saying do not remove
if its a counsil type carpark they give u 7 days to remove it (notice stuck to car)
i hid 4 cars at a mates carpark and 1 day they all got stickered :blub: i rescued the mk1 xr2 but the rest went for scrap

the fact it wont have tax or mot or likely insurance means when they come back they will lift it regardless of whether you put a note on or not. im surprised the dvla havent been around already to clamp it.

i have a designated space with my flat but if any motor in it is not taxed they can still sticker it then tow it away.
even though its your space there is public access to it so they can still remove it, ive had this problem many times with my council.
and mines on a so called private estate.

Cops are on everyones case at the moment. 100+ cars had been stopped this weekend in Southall on South Road with most of them being towed. They had a massive car carrier and were just towing them away if something didn't check out. 2 on my own road got towed away on Sunday.

they do it on the uxridge road outside the texaco as you get to the iron bridge too mate
that's just an easy way to get untaxed/uninsured vehicles off the road so they can "clean up crime"
once the transporter gets filled up they go home

for those of you who have never been to southall, don't come at the weekends, it'll take you a day to get in and a day to get out, crawling on your hands and knees is faster, really it is
and don't come during the day either
your best bet is to come at around 3am, when the shops are starting to close, but you'll still be able to get some grub
