What an AWESOME day as usual.

Was helping out with Stu (Polly X) in the late afternoon and his car was mega on the new spec and he even won the RWD shoot out after beating Nadine in the Viper then he beat the lad in the MG too, he stalled it! Lol.

The cars there are just unreal, stupidly stupidly quick!

Andy and his boys are top lads too, about a million of them changing the gearbox on his car while Andy walks round with a sly beer.

Overall was an awesome day again, favourite day of the car calender for me deffo! Roll on TOTB 9.

Andy's car is rapid, insanely fast. As mentioned he won the Pro Drag class which is an awesome achievement. Was bang on it all day by the looks of it, never stopped for long, got plenty runs in, about 3/4 in a row all in the 9's which for a car not specifically built for 1/4mile racing is excellent.

Stu's car was very fast on the strip, soon as it was off the line it was rapid, when i was watching it was leading the rwd handling class - think it may have won that too?

Stevie Ross' Granada is a beast aswell! Sounds class, had everyone talking, quality car.

Vaux's ruled the FWD too, as expected.

Long day but it was fucking awesome!! I'll say it again, TOTB is the BEST day out in the show calendar imo!

Had a great day. My car was faultless all day with not even a single spanner being required out of the toolbox! I got my 10 second 1/4 which is what I wanted today too.

In the drag shoot outs, it was 2 wins to the YB powered cars for me and Andy . I was up against Nadine in the semis and it was proper wet by then. We agreed it would be see who could do the longest wheelspin competition not a 1/4 drag!

Poor show for Fords though. I dont think there was a single one there competing in any class? Excluding Andy's focus wannabee of course.........which was awesome down the strip!

Not sure what the overall top ten was today with combined points? Anyone seen that?

I can honestly say the drag shootout this afternoon in the rain was the only time ive been happy lining up against 2 cars that both had probably 500 BHP more than me!!!

 

That MG was proper rapid in the dry. It did a 160mph terminal speed. I never saw anyone do that the rest of the day! Bet he was gutted. Everyone wanted you to win though you could tell by the reaction from the whole crowd when he stalled it

 

PMSL, that was funny, everyone in the stand was clapping and cheering for you when they seen the MG had fucked it! Think they all expected it to sail off as it had all day but well done to you, car was looking fast all day
