got my tickets for ford fair delivered this morning. counting the days now. is any body else this exited or am i the only sad one lol

I've been looking forward to going for months, aint done much car show wise this last year, just got some bits to sell to get some cash to spend there.

Bloody head has cracked on mine and not got the time to sort it out before the show.

Looks as though my car won't be ready. Haven't used the fucking thing for the whole summer cos it's in having the bodywork done. When I dropped it off I was told it would be 100% done in 2 weeks. 8 weeks later and it still isn't anywhere near finished despite me asking for it to be ready for combe a few weeks ago and demanding it be done for ford fair!!!!

I know I could jump in with someone else but I really wanted to drive mine and to see everyone else driving theirs and seeing all the cars there will just piss me off so I'd rather not bother.

Wish I'd left the fucking thing tatty now. At least I could have had some fun in it!

 

Still undecided about going.Havent been in about 10 years (used to go when it was in witney). I have my mates engagement party the night before so it could get messy. The car isnt 100% bodywork wise either. But id like to have a look at the jumble bit as after a set of rubber window seals.

 

I'll be there again, without the poxy car though
Ahh well I'll just have to buy lots of stuff to make up for it lol

it is a good show, always been one of my favorites, it normally seems a bit more relaxed than National Day.

RS Toy, Wayne, you'll love it are you taking the family, i think they would enjoy it.
Kitchen Devil, Gary, that car could be done start to finish in a week so get down there & start throwing a few colourful words about, do a sicky or book a couple of days off then stay down there to egg them on or help them,,, nothing like having your car looking all 'bling' for a big show

 

I am looking forward to it one of the best shows of the year and plus i am out on track

Hello Matt!

I went down there for a few hours today to try and get it done and now it is 95% there. There's a couple of bits which I'm not 100% happy with but I will get them sorted after Ford Fair otherwise it definately won't be done!

Looks like I may make it after all!!

I'll be there... - not showing the onion, but my little lad, Jack, its his birthday on Aug 2nd (how convienient) - and he liked FITP, so without too much influence (honest) were going to ford fair as a bday treat...

 

Got my tickets on friday and my stand pass a few weeks ago, first time showing my car. Still got a few things to do, but it's all go go go. get in

 

not really excited about the show as wether its rs's vw's ect ect tou see a few you see them all ! i like it for the socail

 

If anyone's got any spare track sessions please let me know... all being well (read as another day or two of fixing things), the XR2 will be making it's return outing for the first time in six years!
