what computer processor?

im thinking about buying a new computer, but what processor should i buy? i do alot of large photo rendering, so i really want a nice processor, but what one?

I built my last machine about 8 months ago, and havent kept too up on it since, but unless quads have dramatically improved, I would have to disagree.
