Photoshop/Design help.....
Any graphic designers in the house??!!
I need to create something in A2 size that will include an image and text etc, but I want it to be ready so that I can take it to a printers and they will be able to print it without pissing around.
I have Photoshop and Illustrator (although I have rarely used Illustrator).
I think you're supposed to leave an area around the edge for trimming? Is there anything else in terms of basic format that I should adhere to? 300DPI? More?

Needs to have a 3mm bleed edge.
You could set the artwork up at A3 and let them scale it up or set it at A2 ready for them.
You will need to save it at 300dpi but will need to make sure that the images you have used are of a decent quality - ie not small files you just made bigger as they will look blurred.
The files should also be converted to cmyk not rgb.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Matt. So, can this all be done in Photoshop, or do I need to use Illustrator? I'd make sure that the raw images are big enough to be used at A2 size at 300DPI. I generally use IStock for images.
So, if I switch an image to CMYK in Photoshop, is that enough?
