The fuel fillers were not the only things located in the c pillars on the VLM cars if I remember correctly I wonder if anything else can still be found there

the story goes..

in '93 vic lee and a few team members were sent down for cocaine smuggling. the customs were interested in why a btcc team always tested at zandvort (holland). the main bulk of the drugs were apparently found in the gas bottles in the trailers. lee got 12yrs.

fast forward to 2005 and lee (now free), along with jerry mahony (the ex-btcc racer) and 2 others were charged with trafficing again, lee being given another 12 stretch..

The seller is from Kings Norton which is 5 mintues away from me, can't say i'd ever seen it but I don't surpose it's the kind of car you take for a quick spin round the block!

I never knew that! Did Mahony get sent down as well?
