Default Got ford software but which cable do I need...

Hi guys. I have been given some Ford software which I believe can recode my injectors but obviously I need the cable. I have been told that I dont neccesarily need a VCM cable as a mObYdIc Formidable one is not VCM and that is also able to reprogram.

Can anyone tell me exactly. I tried googling but all I get is VMM, CAN, VCm and it all means nothing to me. Cheapest cable would be very handy. Its Not Ford IDS software.

Its a 2003 Ford Mondeo TDCi 2.0 115

Thanks Guys

Hi STU. Yeah its got the OBD port and your right there's only about 8/9 pins, not the full pinned one. I tried a diagnostic software but it wont connect being as for Diesels it was 2004.

I searched VCI on ebay but nothing. The VCM ones are very expensive.

I have an elm327 diagnostic connector which supports PWM. However it wont connect. Althought the mObYdIc one also says it connects via PWM so why doesn't the elm work? Its not a copy one it is the elmelectronics original.
