Hello people!

A friend of a friend has started his own fabrication firm up, his missus has asked me if i know how to setup a website?

My reply was no! lol

Does anyone know how they can get one started, register a domain and have it hosted etc? preferably a nice simple one and cheap or free would help.

Im sure loads of you have done it so any help would be great

And i dare say if you live in the Worcestershire Area then you could negotiate some fabrication work in return!

lol not at the moment mate, he's a one man band for now...but you never know if it takes off

the classic .tk would probably be the best way of starting up a simple free website

.TK is a free domain, and I wouldn't bother with it. It's a little tacky and because it's free has advertisements on the page not related to the business. A .co.uk domain name is so cheap now it's not worth it.

There is always students who will make a website for your friend very cheaply, as it will look good in their CV and portfolio.
