Shuttle launch tonight (AGAIN)
should be around 11:50pm
It was hit by lightening yesterday 12 times

follow the link then on the right hand side of the little screen is other viewing options, click on windows media an you can get it full screen

If they don't get it up (oo-er!) by Wednesday night, they'll have to delay it until the end of the month to make way for a Russian cargo ship that's due to go up.

just read that link and its says the shuttles are retiring in 2010 !!

Remember quite a few years back me and the old man was in Florida and there was a shuttle due to land from a 3 month space mission, So we drove down to cape canaveral in the middle of the night (3 hours drive) got there about an hour before it was due to land.
Was dark and in the distance just about saw the flashing beacon on the shuttle, it came down and looked like nothing more than a 747 coming down at gatwick

The landings definately quite tame in comparison! LOL!!
