afternoon to all, looking for a price on rebuild for me cozzy sapphire engine or is there any good 2nd hand deels going... is it harb to rebuild yourself as good around a engine change... any help greatfull cheers

if your handy with a spanner then they are one of the easiest to rebuild, Ł1500 should see you through a home rebuild inc. machining if it needs doing, cheaper if not

if you want one done for you, then let us know where about in the country you are and i'm sure we can recommend someone

no worries; all the best with it

seriously; if you've rebuilt engines before then these YB are pretty simple things, its basically a pinto with a turbo.

my only advise if you are going to do it yourself, get the machining done by a decent machine shop (if it needs doing), take your time, dont lose patience, and keep it all clean.

were do i find torque settings, some people say a standard build engine is good 4 about 350hp, or is this toilet talk.. my engine is running fine at mo a bit tappy at cold start.. was looking 4 a 3 door or engine rebuild,,, belive ts a hard choice matt..

standard internals will handle circa 500hp, but your head will be restricted at around 420hp

if you've got a 2wd engine then they tend to be a bit tappy due to piston slap - if it aint broke dont fix it!

all torque setting are in online manuals which i'll dig out if you want
