Martin,
I think the old colours are very eye catching, and if nothing else are immediately recognised by everyone. I personally would'nt go WRC style, as I think the bumper and rear wing look like they've been too near the electric fire. lol
I think the car will look stunning enough with the paint work, wheels and brakes to not go overboard on changing the body style!
If I don't see you before have a good xmas too.

With Karl on the paint scheme - keep it the same as before ![Smokin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smokin.gif)
I'm not a fan of the WRC look either....It's "OK" on white cars,
much prefer the standard Es Cos bumpers/rear tail

IMO the old colours are ace, instantly recognisable, and its my fave esc cos.
im a bit undecided tho on a new colour scheme, i think the wrc look would be good, as its a new car, so new look....
maybe same style different colours?
how about inversing the green and the orange??
orange front, green rear??

The old colours look great, but all comes down to what you want at the end of the day.
Ive always thought the best thing about your car was the fact you so clearly didnt give too much of a toss what anyone else though and you just got on and did what you personally wanted, so i reckon stick with doing it that way, put whatever colours you want on it, even if you paint it pink with yellow spots to go with the mr blobby WRC kit it will still demand respect when people realise the performance of it.

Martin,
The car in it's old colour scheme is universally recognised INSTANTLY as a Reyland car. For this reason alone, I believe that it should only deviate from this in small details. Or Lee's car will have to be repainted as the new "corporate" Reyland style
.
Regarding the WRC body kit, I don't like this, but I think that it should go to this level for two reasons: 1. It has less drag but more downforce than the standard kit. I'm not sure about the front bumper, as the wide mouth for the WRC intercooler may slow the car down (as Steve Scott found out when he fitted the Focus RS style bumper to his old car - it went slower with this). 2. It should be able to accept wider wheels (which will look mental - although again, will probably slow the car down top speed wise).
However, at the end of the day, it is your car and your decision

wrc for sure.
you can swap front bumpers if it does hammer top speed too much anyway cant you?
I think old style graphics but in gulf racing colours!! in a sorta way that renton carried on in the skyline on the event that killed the previous shell.
but only problem is that porkie would have to do his as its so smart having in a corporate kinda style.

Watching this with interest!!!! I deffo think WRC body as it needs to be distinguished from the old car somehow... I love the history of the old colour scheme and it is instantly recognisible as your car, BUT the new car is going to be sooo much better on all levels so I kinda wanna have a new look... some newer funky colours but with the old scheme!
I am totally unbothered about having to paint mine as well so thats not a factor!

IMO i think the WRC look on sean's car would look amazing.
not too sure about doing it on car 57 tho! i agree it should be changed from the old car to show its different identity but theres no point in change just for the sake of it - you cant improve on perfection!

Actually, now i think about it, id change the colours too.
If it had the same kit and/or same graphics you KNOW everyones gonna think you just repaired the old shell.
Itd drive me mad explaining all the time that it is infact a new car and not a repaired writeoff like the millions of rumours will say
