Default Escort Cosworth Front Spolier Warping :((

Hi,

How does everyone stop the front spoiler warping. I have only had my new one on for about 10 months and don't even drive the car that much and it has gone all bumpy again . I have been having a quick look through the pictures on this site and quite a few people seem to have straight ones and at £100 a time they are a bit expensive to keep replacing monthly .

Cheers
Dan

It's the weight of the lower spoiler that causes it, this winter I am going to add a central support to it, there is a hole in the middle of the bumper at the back right above one of the lower spoiler mounting nuts, I will use threaded bar to make it easier to adjust, get under your car and you will see what I mean.
regards,
steve

Hi mate,

You got any pics of the fibre glass one, does it look just like the original one?

Cheers
