I've got an ST170 and I wouldn't say it would be worth the difference in performance going to all that trouble.

My advice would be to save the cash and buy a quicker car when you can afford it instead of ploughing money into something that isn't going to get much quicker.

Just my opinion.

st170 exhuast, manifold and cat for a start.
also fit the st170 air feed(snorkel) and box along with a bluefin and you'll have a nice motor with around 150bhp and 150ft lbs of torque.
maybe even see more if you tweak the bluefin using RR data as they will adjust your map to suit for free if you give them sufficient info
to actually see a proper 170bhp i think you'd be talking cams and flowed head etc

Yes the snorkel is an enlarged air feed, some say the 2.0 auto snorkel soes the same?

With the ST mailfold, exhaust, airbox 140 is a more realistic bhp. After that a chip.

Spend a couple of hundred on some good brakes, some ebiech (bad spelling) springs. BHP isn't everything.

Sell it and buy an st170, you've then got a car with better brakes, better suspension, better anti roll bars, a better interior, oh and it's also got the 170bhp you want
