I emailed a seller that was selling a MK4 Golf GTI for a stupidly low price just to see what would happen and the reply I got was.

"I'm a nurse who has just moved to Germany and as a result I no longer need the car so it will be sold at that price as I need a quick sale, the car is here with me and when the payment has cleared the car will be shipped according to the details you provide"

I sent a email back saying that through work I visited Germany several times a month so I would be more than happy to go to visit her and view the car and if I bought it drive it to the coast and get the ferry home.

Funnily enough that was the last I ever hear'd

 

That car sold on ebay for Ł10,225 about 2 weeks ago.

 

the car in the pictures is costu's old car. sold it off here a few months back,for a lot more than that i might add, seems to have changed hands a few times since stu sold it, seen it for sale a few times now. v strange. nice car though, or it was??

 

Hacked advert. When you enlarge the pictures the "Id like to borrow" box to the right changes from Ł4000 to Ł16995.
