Pugo I have been called as a witness. Long story but here goes.

Aprill 11th i hit a lorry and cause about 300 of damage. Car on drive ready to be collected for repair minus a bonnet. Girlfriends cousin babysitting for us and lets her borfriend and 2 of his mates in who then takes car for joyride. Goes to petrol stn, has fuel drives off without paying and writes off 2 cars plus mine.

Police charged him:

TWOC
No insurance or licence
Failing to report an accident
Failing to pay for fuel
Burglary
Theft of monies from account (cheecky C*** used me pc)

He is aged 17 and is to appear at youth court tomorrow. I need to know what happens from here as I have been told i dont need a solicitor, but I have been called as a witness.

that happend to my mates wrx scooby filled it with fuel left it on his drive his mrs brother was babysitting took the scooby out and totaled it took a few other cars out in the process

if you are a witness , you will not need a solicitor, you are just there to tell the facts,
is it a magistrate court you are going to???

if so, the prosecution council will tell all the facts, you will be asked a few questions by the magistrate the scums defence will give a load of bollox about how its not their fault and if all is done and dusted he will sentance the joyriders, if not the case will be adjourned and will resit at a later date!!

it maybe be deffered to a crown court if the magistrate deems so

when you get to court you have to sign in as a witness and you will need to make yourself known to the prosecution, if you are concerned about anything ask them as they will be needing you to be sure of what you are doing(i am taking it you are a witness for the prosecution and not the defence ?????)!
Although they all wear stupid costumes they will all be friendly except the defence council as he will want to make you as nervous as possible DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!
Do not say anything to anybody except to the prosecution, do not discuss the case in the coffee shop or to any friendly people sitting nearby as they might have another agenda!!

just relax, look pissed off , and do not smile ......you will be fine and i really hope the c*nts get there just deserves!!

Thanks very very much Pugo. The guy is on Youth court beacuse he is under the age of 18
He did youth center detention prior to this for 15 months. On top of all my charges he was also wanted by 4 other police stations in the area for 4 other offences. I just dont know what will happen

 

he will get a custodial sentance, thats what will happen!!!!

Vroom-on april 13th- had to reshell the car because of damage

Anyway, I got to court and had to wait until i was called in. After an hour of waiting the prosecutor said I would not now be called as a witness because the w***** changed his plea to GUILTY.
Because he is under 18, any financial payment have to be paid by his mother. And all I am getting is 300. The only reason I am getting that is because i now have to claim my 4000 loss through the Motor Insurance Bureau and any claim is less 300 excess. So due to that , thats all they rae going to make him pay-300 lousy quid.

Good news though, he has recieved a custodial sentence which I will find out today

 

BTW his home address is available from the court... Copper told me that when my car was broken into. He said something along the lines of if they catch him they won't do much but did you know......

 

I wonder where they will send him on holiday?
