From what little I understand about "new" drivers you basically fucked and will now have to resit your test.

AFAIK you dont lose your licence you revert back to learner status and therefore will have to resit your test. As good as losing your licence but not a ban, will only cost you the test fee etc...on top of your fine.

do what i did..my set of 2nd points was the same time as yours, went to court and pleaded not guilty,i just got a 200 fine..but hey,i still got my licence, rather than loose it..its worth a try..depends on if they have a picture of you driving or not, mine was just of the number plate, you can also claim(if they got pic of plate)is that your car must have been cloned..worth a try..

your license will be removed, and you have to re-take your test.. simple as that no way of getting out of it really. courts are harsh on new drivers.

because it is a legal requirement that you inform them and if you dont and god forbid you ran someone over or crash into someone else your insurance would be void and they would pay fuck all out.

because you wont be entitled to drive. your insured as a full licence holder. you will be banned and a resit so your insurance will go up accordingly or if you dont declare it come claim time they wont pay out.
my insurance goes up 15% for each 3 points recieved and another 25% if i cross the 12 point barrier and receive a ban. yours will be much worse as a young inexperienced driver.

i suppose you dont have to... but it would be breaking the law... but bearing in mind that you will have to tell them about your 6 points, also the previous 6 points (if within 5 years)...

also just realised... 12 points within 4 years when it goes to court... you might get mega rimmed! (can i suggest taking a tub of vaseline in with you, as the judge may be leinient then!)

The smell is his attitude and it stinks. Ignore them, they are only here from the heavens above, sent by God to tell everyone how to be the perfect human being. I hope you're not downloading illegal music, or ever done 15mph in a supermarket car park. Damn, you're asking for a PF telling off if you have.

When you retake your test, a new 2 year "new driver" period starts again.

I suspect if what you imply is true about your lack of driving ability (observation in particuar) you wont EVER get past the first 2 years

+2.

Benni, i dont think anyone is moaining at the fact sometimes people make mistakes, which are normaly you learn from, but the people who ''brake the law'' and brag about it, its pure shit. rather annoying and makes me laugh, also this Guy knows everything from what i can see,

Now post start, get your shit and be ready for a motherfucking but rapping, as clearly you may even get a ban, maybe 4months maybe more, or you may not even be able to take your test for a nuther year.. but yeah...

i think it is more to do with the general comments that people see, has a cossie and MPS and has been driving less than 2 years, street racing etc

thats incorrect chip.. i have it in wittering, i did something stupid, which wasnt my fault, i taken out insurance like everyone else, but the guy who sorted it over the phone cocked it up, which i went to court and pleeded my side, i was told that once you get revoked, on paper, that you held your licnece since the first day of passing your test, so the 2year paired is over(if you have gone over the paired.), but if you do get more points such as 6 you get a ban, and maybe re-take again deppends on the courts rulling. i have this on paper from courts, bering in mind i spend over 5,600 on all my fees.

sometimes you learn from your mistakes. i learned from mine after my 8th ban. not everyones a goody goody but once youve made your choice accept the consequences it brings or change your ways.

Oh, must have changed then, was like that for my cousin when she retook her test after getting banned for 6 points (36 in a 30 on an empty road, then 35 on it, properly harsh, EVERYONE goes up there quicker that that normally even the old bill, lol) as her brief told her that she would lose it again for getting 6 further points.
Well unless he meant that the 6 points stay on so therefore she only had 6 points left till 12?

After passing your retest

It’s important to remember that passing a retest doesn’t remove the penalty points from your driving licence. The penalty points remain valid.

correct.

if my maths is right, you are still under 5 years from getting your first 6 points, and you now have 6 more, which means you are fucked in two different ways, the 2 year rule and the totting up procedure?
if so, i would get the lube ready.....

Quick Reply: 6 points in my first 2 years ..do i loose licence
