winter wonderland
went for a walk yesterday (after having a massive roast beef sunday lunch ) to an old roman castle.
we've had freezing weather over here for over a week now, and absolutely no wind, rain or snow. the trees were all covered with a mad icy effect that i've never seen before in my life. it was really quite beautiful.

near frankfurt mate. it isn't actually all that cold, just that it's been below freezing for days and foggy so the'res been a build up of frost on everything that hasn't blown off. as soon as you shake the tree, it all falls off really easily as it's really fine.
the frost framing the second pic was not a tree. it was a metal fence that had the same tiny icicles on it. really mad.
