i have a mk6 escort van in the middle of fitting a new head unit 2 xsubs and amp but i was wondering what size speakers can i fit in the doors and how do you get the damn window winders off and speaker covers with out breaking them sorry for all these newbie questions you cna slap me later

Get a screw driver in there and push it off, make sure you see where it went though when it pings off miles away

door cards are easy, but the window winders are a little tricky, get a flat screw driver in between the winder and the backing and you will see a metal clip, you need to somehow push that down and pull the winder off, I find 2 screw drivers and an allen key the most effective method, as for the rest of it, you need to unscrew anthing that is screwed onto the doorcard as that usually goes straight into the door and then the little screws around the edges, the finally lift upwards and pull away.
