you have had the evo from new haven't you ?
really you want a px with more cash if your trying to get your brass back altogether.
you could end up with a small chunk of money and a car that could be hard to shift at nearly 15 grand.
i used to see someone in stoke selling cosworths years ago in the automart, could possibly of been yourself or castle.
i would bung it in the automart and put ye old sensible px,its 23quid for 2 weeks on line and a week in the mag,has worked for me when i have wanted out of a expensive car and got a big chunk and a cheepy px i have smoked around whilst selling

I know this guy as we are both local members on a forum. I'd been trying to buy this car for a while but couldn't do it till I came home in September, Steve wants it sold quicker.
I have seen this car in the flesh and it is bang on and it goes like stink. Steve is very fussy about his cars and this is one of the nicest ones I have seen.
I don't think this one would be harder than any other to shift at 15K, it just the market at the moment, nothing against the WR1, it is a good car. Personally prefer the interior to the standard STi too.

If you were going to keep it, then it'd be a good idea.. something a bit different to the Evo, decent spec, looks to have been done properly with quality parts.
But..
If you're going to do the deal to sell the Impreza on, then you'll struggle to shift it at that money (like he obviously has) to be honest... he's written a good advert, taken decent photos etc but still hasn't had a sale which proves that its too strong money for what it is. Obviously, if he's planning to give you a huge lump of wonga in part exchange which values his car at less than advertised then you can afford to put it up for a more realistic price which could generate a sale.
Cheers,
Grant

And you think you would use the scooby more?
Cause if not, whats the point in taking a part-ex?
What I would do is basically kick him in the bollocks by offering him 11-12K against the scooby, at least that way you get some of your money back on the evo right away, as lets face both are depreciating at a hell of a rate, if he really wants the evo then he'll go for it just cause its less hassle to him even though it will cost him a few K to do so, if he doesnt go for it you have lost nothing.

Both those cars in a couple of years time will be worth significantly less, so if you have no use for such a car the sooner you get out the better.
