post office travel insurance

left it a bit late if i go down to the post office tomorrow to get travel insurance will it be sortd there and then or will i have t wait for something to come thorough in the post

£12.50 im not going to moan and i would do it online but my account is empty so it would be easier to go into town to do it tomorrow
