Default S2 RST engine probs

hi, im new on this site and need help with my car, got a 89 rs turbo which has problems starting when hot, it will start fine when cold but with a bump when hot. the starter motor wont turn it over either when hot, a mate at speed shack sait its the starter motor and my mate said its the pistons siezing in the cyilnders. help any 1, also need a roof for 89 escort cab.

This is the most repeated question ever!!!

heat shield on the starter is missing. therefore causing the starter to be overheated by the turbo. hence the no starting when hot!!! replace the heatshield!!
