Ferrari has built 30, expanding the original 29 that were planned. These have all been sold to pre-selected past Ferrari customers, with the exception of one which was retained by Ferrari S.p.A. Ferrari's F1 World Champion driver, Michael Schumacher, received the 30th. Schumacher's FXX differs from others in that it is the only black FXX without a stripe, it comes with red trim on the wheels, it has matte exhaust tips (regular FXX's have chrome tips), and his personal logo is stitched on the racing seats

it was obvious it was going to be schumacker who took off the helmet after showing the FXX lap! bit of a let down to be honest, i didnt think the episode was one of the better ones either.

plus if you think about it logically the white stig was going when he was still an F1 driver and dont think he would of been allowed/wanted to do a BBC1 show + drive for ferrari do you! lol

There's no way they could have kept it quite. Somebody would have seen him going in and out and put two and two together. Plus I don't think they could have kept his ego under wraps (or helmet) for so long.

Schumacher can't be the Stig, looks far too skinny. I've always thought it was Ben Collins. He has featured in some episodes as well when they do racing and need drivers.

as for the stig it ain't schuy as there has been a number of stigs remeber the findings from hamonds escapade in the jet car...

not to mention during the testing of ferraris and the race weekends,,,,,, what does ANYONE belive that he could have done testing for hes car,,,, film top gear on wednesday then fly over to germany, abu dhabi ect and then race as the best race driver of all time,,,,,, hes good but he aint that fucking good,,,, thats when you ignore how much it would have cost them,,,the hassle of,,,,,,,, hell why am i trying to explain to any moron who cant work it out as its obvious if your than dumb then you aint gonna be able to read let alone understand

The 'Q' from off this Forum was there & Myself & Russel were listening to it on his phone, told it was Top Secret & not to tell. He flew in on his private jet & drove his personal Ferrari around the track etc. It happened one day last week, surprised noone from here got to hear about it cos it broke on Piston Head last Friday.

Was on the calibra forum last wednesday, blatantly obvious top gear couldnt afford schumacher every week, he was just there to drive the ferrari.

Cool bit of marketting though, certainly got everyone talking about top gear.

When I went to Top Gear in 2005 I swear the Stig was Jonny Herbert, we heard him talking to someone and he has one of those voices you just know.

Haven't watched tonights yet but agree its highly unlikely that Schue was the Stig for any longer than wednesdays filming lol

just finished watching tonight episode on the bbc iplayer! was strange that he did not do a lap in the RPC. well i mean a proper lap, not that BS they showed at the end of the show. That is unless he did not beat Hamilton

after all, he was there doing "them" a favour in "his" car and probably wasn't going to waste time driving a little tin pot motor that wasn't somehow linked to him in a sponsership deal type of way

or, as you say, he may have whupped everyones times and they dind't want "zee germans" at the top of the leader board

it was all a big show it cost 1 mill to get him on the show they will never show who it is ,it does vary every few weeks to who is availible it was his fxx its the only way to get the car on the show ,a good friend of mine is a researcher there

it was his car im sure. he had the last off the line iirc. there was only 30 ish made i think.

he has done it as he was in england for the f1 and he is the only one he trusts.look at what tg did to that koenissegg(sp) before

anyway his driving style was totally different to all the stigs that have been and gone.

Utterly. I can't believe ANYONE failed to see it was just a good publicity stunt.

Was v.disappointed with the episode. I watch Top Gear for fast cars and the team mucking about - not to watch a train, a dull old bike and an old Jag pottering about.

Shuey wasn't in that PRC at the end!!

He's contracted by Ferrari/Fiat not to drive any other make of car(on TV etc).....hence why he never drove cars like the aston etc in the ROC,no other reason! AND pmsl at the fools in here that thought he was actually the Stig
