Default Ebay invoices

How are these worked out? I've read the help thing but it didn't help

Basically i've got a £20 invoice and all i've done it buy a £50 bike so that seems a bit extreme. I sold a car the other month and my invoice including that was £9

Were do they get £20 from? They can fuck right off from now on

£9 is the listing fee for the car £8 basic plus you had something at extra cost eg bold for £1
£20 is the final value fee

The final value fee from the sale of the car? Remember that you pay the listing fee and the final value fee separately.

What he said. It's just that you listed it in one invoice period, and sold it in the next.

ebay are a joke mate, so unfair for sellers on there hence why i dont use it no-more..... but as already said ebay take a final sale fee, think its a percentage of how much it made and the amount will also change for what catagory its in (i think) i.e if you sell a car the final value fee will be worked out at a higher percentage than if you sold for example a mobile phone etc....
