only asking ebcause i've got a set as well and am not sure if several years of sitting about the place doing 5 miles a year has affected them a lot or not
yes dojj i havei have drilled & tapped the bolts out to m12 now for peace of mind & torqued to 45 ft,lbs but if your sticking to the m10,s torque to 35----50 ft lbs i done mine to the middle of the recommended torque range.hope this helps.

On the picture below it shows that it bolts to a flat face, would it not be bettr to have a counter bore on the right hand piece to allow it to sit snug on the other side.

the shoulder on the swivel bit is to locate it through the tca,s ido not think it would make the design any better.

then you've have to make the firs tbit (on the left) thicker and the right bit thicker as wll to get it all fitting right

dont' forget that it's only got a small lip in the casting of the tca to sit in

Hi,

Just been looking at you pics and I think I would be having a good look at the inner track control arm rose joints – When your wheels came forward is it possible that these have been moved to far in a direction they are not designed to move in ? If they have rotated far enough to jam on the casting they may have been over stressed and potentially damaged / weakened ?

Check your bolt torques to, according to Ford M10’s = 30 to 38 lbft and M12’s = 52 to 66 lbft
