Default White smoke... eek :(

Hi Chaps,

I know you can't do a diagnosis online but what do you reckon to plumes of white smoke coming out the exhaust on my ERST DOH!

Its not while driving only when comin to a halt and driving off again, header tank is also hissing slighly from the cap but i can't see any traces of oil in the header or water in the oil... YET.

Head gasket? Turbo seals? happened ealier today so ive driven it home slow and I'll give mic from hitec a ring monday morning and see if he can fit it in this week for whatever needs doing.

All help appreciated

Matt

is it definately white, or bluey?

if its white then head gasket i would say, whats the oil filler cap like, header tank level keep checkin for traces of oil etc.

if it was slightly blue, or smelt oily then could be turbo

Will check again tmrw when I get back to the house. Water did seem quite clear but i suppose it takes a bit of time for the oil to get into it, anymore things to check? Slight overheating as well but not near the red or anything

Cheers
