have you seen the price with it fully unlocked ? i have and its on a par with the best motec - its going to be a hard choice, no other ecu comes close, although i have had a tip off from a friend to look at the life racing F88 - if only there website wasnt shite

 

from what i can tell, life racing's F88 is the SQ6 in drag. I was quoted a similar price to the T6.

 

There are many management systems out there. It's impossible to say which is best.

 

BTTT for readers of another topic who may be interested in it...

 

Today I am off work. So it is my mission to speak to Pectel and Life to work out which is the best ECU to go for.

The F88 will run DBW Mark! Also the F88RS without EGT is £1400 plus VAT or over 2k with! The F88RS will run DBW too.

 

What exactly is your project that you need such a mega ECU for?

I like to play with things. The car will initially be pretty basic in terms of using the ECU to full advantage but I want to play with things and add things to the car.

 

what make and model will u guys use the throttle body of for dbw?

bmw?

VAG im using, which is a bosch unit, bolts straight onto a cossie inlet, if your using std inlets, T6 will not do DBW.

Whilst your here, you sent me a couple of tubes with bends and scallops in for my rear ARB mounts i think, but cant see where they weld to ?
