machining down offsets on wheels

Default machining down offsets on wheels

continplating maybe getting my wheels machined down to correct offset say et35 so they would fit my car properly,has anyone done this? if so what results did you get?

Can anyone recomend any places to try? baring in mind im in london area! and what sort of cost would this set me back?

you need to have a look at how deep the holes are in relation to the depth of the hub face, you may find that removing 10mm or whatever will leave you with very little shoulder for the wheel nuts to locate on

i just had the same problem, not enough meat on the wheels to take a great deal off, maybe safely get a couple of mm but thats it..... i looked into machining the disc instead as you can safely get another couple of mm out of that which helps as well!
