i couldnt recognise the signs but ive heard the story that the japanese guy who did it japan also did it here on the A1 going past peterbourgh. probably not the same bloke as i heard he got clocked over here doing 196mph but sounds like that stretch of road is popular for it!

The other Max Power one was done through the A1 Hatfield tunnel if I remember rightly. Got the vid here too, but I think I saved it when Steve posted it last..

Theres no stretch straight enough or long enough near the Hatfield tunnel to do 200mph.
Maybe you are thinking of the Top Secret car in Japan, that did 200mph through a tunnel there

If i remember right you have to hit under just over 7500rpm to hit a genuine 200mph with std R34 gearing, looks to me like he hit 7400, so a lot closer than you think

thats nothing should see how fast my mates honda civic is, he was telling me he gets it to 140 all day long on motorways , does much more too



i quized it and he answer was its a jap import, there the fasterones like skylines



so i took him for a spin in the cossie and he was shitting himslef doing 80 in 30 zones and then crapped himself when i got on the m1 slip road accelerating from brent cross and when we was on the m1 was doing 115, he looked sick


imagine what a civi must feel like at 140 on motorway holding it there

More, well i know of tons of vids, but not many good road ones apart from a few thats on my HD or on DVDs at home, and thats no good for anybody.

What id like to post is a vid of the Option top speed challenge, they dont use a brunters type thing, they got a 5.5km oval track with 45degree banks on the corners Ive got it saved on my HD but the site that hosted it is long gone, and its about 70meg.

i know the passanger in the skyline it was me mate dave young he used to have a r32 skyline he s now got a 400 hp 3dr
now in the fenland group with us yer it was on the a1m hes done over 200mph in various skylines hes on this site ( ALPINA}

Its not hatfield tunnel, its both japan, thats a famous tunnel in japan that you have to pay to use and is desetrted at night so they use for top speed shit
