can i have your opinions on these cars please, for and against.

Escort mk5 xr3i 1.8
Orion ghia si 1.8
Mondeo 1.8 (r reg)
mondeo 2.0 si 4x4 (n reg) and with out 4x4
Vauxhall Astra sport 1.8

which would you go for?
Only to be used as a runabout, and have upto £800 to spend, seen some nice ones on ebay that im watching at the mo.
And its for the missis not me lol.

1.8 Mondeo sounds the best bet to me Benn

I would probably go for the R plate 1.8 Mondeo.

if ur after a 5 door run around the orion looks the better choice for the money. got the same engine as the 3i but with a longer ratio for better fuel. and theyre good on insurance aswell think only group12-13

but u cant beat a mondi for being a great family car but i would say a good spec low miler u wont get for 800.

would say either for the money the mondys seem good choices for run around! plenty of space failing tht the onion!

I'd take the later shape Mondeo - it'll probably wear the miles better than the others too.
