After college i decided not to go to uni and was working for HMV then onto Apple. 4 years later i decided to give retail the finger and give uni a go. Today we got our results and i passed my first year with a 2-1 yey!!

How can you pass your first year with a 2-1, must be a predicted surely. Its the end of the uni degree that counts.

but you'll find first year is a piece of piss, its your 3rd year that will see that grade drop. i guess its called 3rd year cuz most ppl including me get 3rd's lol

Nope, they do a overall grade on the course now. They use to do it by module but now they just round it off to a over grade for the year. 2-1 is good but i want a 1st. Don't want to be the only one with a 2-1 when my brothers have got 1st lol

Congrats. But you do know in the 1st year you can only get a pass dont you, you could get a 1st in all your marks but it still counts as just a pass, hence why i did as little work as possible and got a 45 (40 being a pass) and got the same overall mark as someone who got 1sts in every module but never went out

what you studying mate?

degree's a degree at the end of the day that in it self is a big deal and will get you far. i only went to uni for the laugh, just glad i got something out of it lol

Yeah i had my laughs before going to uni which is why i moved back home and decided to travel to uni. The whole drinking student thing wasn't me.
