Is there anyway to calculate IMEP of an engine? I know you can measure it with test equipment, but youd always have to have it connected to know what the reaidng is.

Also, can someone explain the difference between IMEP and BMEP? Does the Brake one take into account frictional losses as IMEP doesnt?
