Default Wasted spark and Revotec rev counter

Ok I have got wasted spark on the car with twin ign amp, and no distributor anymore of course. I have 5 wires behind the rev counter. I would like to know how to connect 3 of them. There are 3 connections behind the std cosworth 4wd rev counter, so probably I have to use this.

1) "Connect to dash lamp power". Which of the 3 "pins" from the std rev counter do I have to connect this ?

2) "Connect to Tacho output of electronic ignition"

3) "Connect to negative side of ignition coil (distributor side)"

Help needed lads !

Post up what colours you have.
As a rough rule, red is live, black is ground(earth), green OR blue is coil negative, obviously with coilpack the switches on rear etc will need adjusting to get correct reading.
Then you will have illumination light neg and pos, the neg for illumination is normally kept seperate from actual gauge workings.
This is roughly how most are but there are differences so post up wire colours, surely it must have come with destructions ?

Green seems to be feed after contact ("switched ignition power source +VE")
Black is ground
Red/White has to be connected to dash lamp power
Brown/Gray is "hour meter only"
White/Black has to be connected to tacho output of electronic ignition
Red/Blue has to be connected to negative side of ignition coil distributor side

First 2 wires are no problem, but then... :S

Stu told me that the wire for revs on the std dash is the green one (which is true), so which one of the REVOTEC wires should I connect to it ?

- Tacho output of electronic ignition
- Negative side of ignition coil distributor side

I would say the first option, but just want to be sure !
