Default Focus ABS

I ordered a new drum and ABS sensor ring for a 1.6 focus with rear drums.

The old ring has teeth on it but the new one is like picture below.

Is this just a new design of the sensor ring or is this the incorrect abs ring?

Thanks

Aye .. Thats a Focus rear Disc Hub Magnetic Collector ring. You want the smaller Toothed Ring .. See if I have the Fin number for that somewhere.

Is the ring itself actually smaller im diameter as the ring in the picture fits onto the drum fine but the one that is on the original drum has teeth like the one in the last picture.

What is the hub pictures off?

If possible could you measure the internal diameter of the ring?

The finis number for the one i got is :- 4664143

The reason i need a new one is that the guy who did a wheel bearing for him before decided to replace one drum and just not bother putting the sensor ring or the other spacer thing in at all and just put the drum on.

So i put the ring picture in and it didnt fix the problem

Ill measure the size of the one i have now and the drum also

Strange that ... Whats the pick up like? Plastic? ... I couldnt get a Toothed ring of 72mm thats why I had to machined the hub for the 66mm ring ..

Gonna have to go to Ford dealer and have it out with them till you get sorted .. Good luck mate ..

Yeah i ordered it from ford parts but i was hoping to get it all fitted on thurs, that wont be happening.

Think i will have to remove the toothed one and take the new one and the old one into ford and ask whats happening. It could be that the one i have got it a new design of the old ring or something.

Which means something else is wrong with the abs

Good Idea mate ... I had the same problem .. They said it was an Updated version but I told em to get the right Collector ..

Have to go to the parts counter and get an experienced Parts man to help you out.
