You'll have to take me out next year Paul, looked like you were having fun in the wet on Saturday

Very proud to be sponsors again for another cracking weekend!

Thanks to all the organisers, top job again..

Special thanks to Dave Easton for;

1. Taking me out in the Escort and showing me how it handles on a ploughed field..

2. Letting me take the Escort on track(kept out of the field).. Very impressed.

Roll on next year!!!!

Truly excellent weekend - thoroughly enjoyed it all - big thanks to the the Durham & Derbyshire lot for the smooth running of it.

15minutes between sessions was a bit annoying but as previously said it was out of the RSOC hands - plus at least it meant that people had tinkering time inbetween sessions if they had any issues.

I got pulled in around 4 times for noise issues, but every time I passed the test @ 94db! lol! I had some good battles out there on track with quite a few cars (you know who you are lol) Between myself & Shell we did around 250miles on track - most of which the Clio performed faultlessly with just a little TDC plug issue from time to time. Couple of people need to listen better to the drivers briefings and learn which side of the track to be on if they have issues but never mind!!! Loved the wet track conditions on the Saturday as it meant I could test out my new Dunlop wets - they were that good I was actually hoping it would rain some more before the weekend was finished!!!! It waited until 4pm Sunday to rain again & by that time I couldnt be bothered changing my slicks so I went out for a few 'interesting' laps instead. Quickest lap of the weekend that I managed was a 1:41, Shell managed a 1:50 which I thought was excellent considering it was her first time on track....shes now addicted to tracktime.

Hope everyone that I took out on charity laps enjoyed them as much as I did - sorry to those people that had to wait a while - demand was high on the Sunday.

I've got over 200 photos to go through & 16gb worth of incar video footage too.

If anyones got any photos or vids of the RS 'Tripod' Clio then I'd really like to see them.

Met a load of new faces which was nice, everyone was very friendly & very helpful.

Roll on next year!!!!

The saturday after the rain had stoped was a good afternoon, got going quite well in the 3 door, Sunday too, but was knackered by the afternoon, which may explain my little outburst to the bloke in the mobile schicane(rwd focus) but after following him round 5 corners at grandma sppeeds i was a little pissed of that he couldne find the right hand side of the track.

Paul how they didnt pull you for noise and drifting is beyond me ,,, but you are special lol

Dont think you need to excuse yourself mate he was the one to blame & needed telling...there was no need for the way he was driving - he'd been to both drivers briefings as he'd been out on the Saturday too and as Shell said it wasnt just you mate, he annoyed many others too! It was me that came over and joined in the little 'outburst' with you! LOL!!

right, i've tidied up the thread as we are dealing with the issue in hand and no need to flood a thank you thread about it tbh.

My number as always is 07717 280942 for anyone wishing to discuss this matter.
