Default Looks like my broadband has been upgraded ...



but they haven't informed me and it wasnt supposed to be till 15th dec

still, not complaining

anyone else done a test

Ntl upgraded mine a while ago for free and doubled it from 150k to 300k and theres me thinking that was quite quick

4mbs? Who is that with?? As far as i knew BT are only just thinking bout releasing 2mbs arent they? Very keen to find out more though!!

NTL will be offering 3mb cable in the new year for £38/month I think.

Would say the 4mb is with blueyonder.

thing thats gets me is why would he be downloading rise of nations at work?

Surely can't be a homeline?

I got upgraded at the end of last week with Blueyonder. Went from 3Mb to 4Mb Also the upload rate has increased from 30kb/s to 48kb/s but thats only with there 4Mb

Yeah thats the download rate now with blueyonders 4Mb highest I've seen mine go to is 490kb/s

Mine was upgraded today. Was getting 253k/sec on a 2 meg connection.

I have 3Mb wireless SDSL (3Mb up and 3Mb down)

Needs a dish on the roof but download/upload speed is the same

Sorry for being nosey but how much is it? And does it work well with programs like Edonkey and shareazaa?
it costs £50 a month (which is good considering a connection 8 times slower is £25) and yes it works foooookin ace with p2p programs.

better using something where u can get the same file off multiple users and max out your bandwidth

Cheers for the link Sent them an email enquiring if there broadband is available in my area as 3Mb upload limit is very tempting

237kbps

29k bytes/sec

ntl - depends on the package u subscribe to whether they cap ur downloads

that 3meg up/3 meg down is awesome. my mate pays 80 quid a month for 2 meg down and 256 up.
