Also, without wishing to appear rude, whatever is going on is nothing to do with you, so why would you be 'in the loop'. If they have had him most of the day then I think we can assume something has happened.

And, erm, why would the police need a warrant to seize a car that they suspect was involved in crime?

When I was arrested they released me with no charge, but I had to re-attend a couple of weeks later pending investigation.

if theyre investigating a crime and your the suspect they can do almost anything they want to determine guilt or innocence.
how do you think they solve crimes otherwise? id guess theyre acting on some sort of tip off whether a mistake or maliscious who knows?

well they said the car is somewhere else havin work finished off so i think there still tryin to get somthing but he didnt get any bail conditions or nothing so i dont think hes still in the investigation
