Default distributor cap question

hi there i have a 2wd saff and it has the side entry style cap ..
my local motorfacters have got me the wrong type says he cant find a side entry cap for cosworth?? (so he has got me the plug leads into top type)

my question is will this still fit and work or are they totally different

i assume the side entry ones maybe were just for ease of fitting the plug leads ???
or are they totally different

Also fit a few other cars too, but should be dead easy to get, why not try Matt Lewis, 01543 484488, in stock normally.

2wd have straight cap + bent leads
4wd have bent cap + striaght leads

as long as you use them in that combination they will work.
