Default Finally some pics of my Subaru Impreza.....If you dont like it, dont comment!!

For the people who have asked to see it.....i finally got time to get some pics of it today now i have it how i want it.

STANDARD UK Impreza Turbo with a De-cat and a pipe....Thats it.

I REALLY like the car, it drives so nice and feels quickish......for what it is. Driving position is superb. Handles really well for standard.

Very nice. Looks a nice standard mint example.

I'm still looking for another saloon that age with under 60k on the clock. There are a lot of overpriced ones going about!

I really like them Tiffany, I just found them fucking expensive when they fuck it.

It's never a little thing which goes on those things, but as you drive it like a gay lord you will have many happy miles in it mate.

It's a really nice example mate

Chop, it,s a good idea yes, cus it can have an Effect on the boost.

Mapping is always a good idea anyway, especially more so on the Imports cus of the fuel we run here. P1 suffers from MAF Failure also V5/6 too

I guessed it'd need done. FRS boys say not to get a decat without a relevant map or you'll do damage.

Just a thought.

My mate has the exact same car but in green, with the same mods.
Goes really well for a uk subaru, and handles like its on rails.

If you dont mind me asking, how much?

Looks a nice example.

And the comment by someone about them being worth peanuts is true to a certain extent but there's still a good following of people that will pay a premium for high quality examples. There may be lots of chea cars about but when you actually set your sights on a decet example (MY00 with low mileage, fsh, original paint and not molested) you'll find they fetch a decent amount of money.

Very nice looking car, also looking for one of these as a replacement/swap with my Mondeo ST200... but not as easy finding decent, reasonable price, sensible mileage examples any longer.

Think its originally from my area too going by the numberplate... history might be Town and County Subaru in Perth which was the biggest dealer in the area at that time, although it possibly could have come via Kenneth Melville in Errol too.

If you haven't got any paperwork for a MAF sensor change then I'd recommend doing that as a precaution if/when you're giving it a fresh service, they're quite fragile on the MY99/00 models and if they go tits up... then they'll be fuelling all over the place and take the engine with them. So its worth replacing for the sake of around £70-£80.

Cheers,
Grant
