Yeh this is alot better. The thing that makes me laugh is people who detail brand new cars and then expect people to believe they are an absolute genius.

that same 'fruit loop' does the same with hypercars too, he did the Maser MC12 and he featured in 5th gear too.

He makes a lot of money - unlike us fruitloops sat on the forum

Awesome job! Oxidised cars always come out great. Chances are its never had a polish in its life, then it oxidises, which actually protects the paintwork underneath. I used to love spending a day or two on really bad cars like this. Soooo satisfying once its finished!

Its not that the paint is fooked mate, its just oxidised and more often than not, get be brought back to life like this one. If the owner keeps on top of it, theres no reason why it'll go back to how it was in a year, or even 5.

Rinsing the wash mitt out in a clean bucket of water before putting it back into another bucket of soapy water when your washing the car - so the water your washing the car with stays clean, hence damaging the paintwork less

You could argue whether you think he's a prat or not mate, but its purely advertising. He does it for a living so this is a perfect marketing strategy to gain potential business. He gets lots of business through threads like this on the internet so he's clearly no prat in that sense.

To be fair the people who think he's a prat wont be a potential customer of his so im sure he doesnt care about people calling him one either way. I know i wouldnt mind as long as its lining my pockets.

You cant knock a man for being at the top of his game and wanting the world to know about it.

i wouldnt confuse vxrmarc with Paul Dalton mate, Paul Dalton is one of the most respected and well known detailers in the country/world whereas vxrmarc is a tosser with a blue astra!

again your talking about the wrong person, the guy with the blue vxr/ white vxr is called marc and hes a photocopier operator (does not detail for a living afaik)

and Paul Dalton is his friend who machined his blue car and does detail for a living and is the guy on 5th gear! one of best detailers in country!

The person who detailed my cerbera told me that he does a lot of work for Bmw,audi and Vw on their new cars...New car turns up at dealer,gets washed and polished by the garage valeter and 90% of the time the paintwork is fooked by said valeter and needs correction before its sold.

The state that some new cars arrive at dealers in you wouldnt believe. Dont forget that many have been left in fields for ages too. Id say new cars need a proper detail more than many, and ive seen many that do, just washed and given a quick polish and handed over to the customer.

I used to regulary spend a full day on brand new unregistered focus's and meganes.

Im a valeter, and this job is not a hard thing to do , once u have learnt how to mop a car properly, it can be done REALLY easily with the simplist of materials to work with, (a hard mop and a bottle of G3) is mainly enough and then some turtle wax polish (ie the ones that are black/green/red in colour) which i find finishes the car off lovely, i understand valeting/detailing are 2 different things but i have had finishes on red like that many a time. Love seeing the customers faces after
