A couple of days ago, a red one pulled up next to me at the lights. Looked 100% original with the white multispoke wheels, absolutely georgeus!

i dont know a lot about these ,make sure its a turbo,(has the wide arches) because the normal coupe isnt worth that much, on an a reg it will be a 10valve, the later ones (about 1987)were 20valve and much faster..i was looking to buy one a few years ago and decent ones were over 5 grand.....oh and the parts are expensive

couldnt get inside it as i didnt have the keys; so couldnt look under the bonnet
did these come with electronic dash?????
few little mods like the exhaust and wheels and i noticed drilled front disks, i'd imagine its was quite a nice car once
will need rust sorting and has a small hole on front N/S wing

The UR model is not just a wide body quattro its the road legal version of the 80s rally car worth anywhere up to 100k (depending on its heritage), it has a shorter wheelbase and has about as much in common with other quattro's as the rs500 has in common with a 1.6gl.
that car does look like a bargain tho ! get it bought

The Audi Ur Quattro was a Quattro programme car developed for homologation for Group B rallying in 1984, and sold as a production car in limited numbers. It featured an all aluminium alloy 2,133 cc (2.1 L) 20v DOHC engine slightly smaller than that of the Audi Quattro. In road-going form, the engine was capable of producing 302 bhp with the competition cars initially producing around 444 bhp.
The vehicle also featured a body shell composed of carbon-kevlar and boasting wider arches, wider wheels (nine inches as compared to the original Quattro's optional eight inch wide wheel rim), the steeper windscreen rake of the Audi 80 (requested by the Audi Sport rally team drivers to reduce internal reflections from the dashboard for improved visibility) and, most noticeably, a 320 mm (12.6 in) shorter wheelbase. This was carried out in order to improve handling potential in the face of newer, smaller competition, such as the Lancia 037 and the Peugeot 205 T16, which had been purpose-built from the start for Group B rules.
Copied from a random audi site, so i might well be wrong as its where i got my info
