Sorry, but I never liked the woman anyhow. I think she was getting a bit big for her boots and I was so glad she didn't win. Watching her on Saturday, she seemed a bit odd on the show, I honestly thought she was going to have a stage tantrum when she lost to Diversity. Now she's been admitted to The Priory.

Think the term nut job is unfair tbh. She may have a learning disability of some description or another mental problem that no one knows about. Or it may just be the fact she is 40 odd years old, never had a boyfriend and lives alone with her cat's, therefore has no real idea of the outside world and has had the world's media on her constantly for 7 weeks.

Either way, do you think she gives a shit lol. She is set to rake in Ł8M this year alone.

Rich, it's only light-hearted comments from me mate. I sympathise if she does have an actual problem, but for someone that on the surface is so 'inward' and slightly reclusive, she doesn't seem to lack self-confidence (demonstrated when she hitched her dress RIGHT up as she walked off stage).

Money or not, maybe her life is about to head in a really terrible direction and may well be the end for her. I bet if you asked her in 12 months time, when she is lording it up in her country retreat sipping vintage wine, she'll wish she'd never done it.

I read that when she was been delivered there was a slight problem during the birth and her brain was starved off oxygen.This caused her mental problems.Happens quite a bit around the world,and could happen to anyones baby.I hope Susan has a successfull career and makes a few quid.Regards,Micky

Very common condition indeed mate, my brother is affected by that same thing. The environment Boyle has grown up in probably wrapped her up in cotton wool until a certain age couple this with whats different about her and i reckon that would result in some of the child like behavior she displays at times. I hope the lass is an out and out success, the Americans love her so no doubt she will be.

Btw a friend of mines claims to know somebody who lives in her street, she is know locally as the mad woman with the cats who shouts at the kids

What learning disabilities does she have that are mild enough to allow her to still sing and perform the way she does??

Although she must have some form of social mental/learning disorder to not have lost her virginity by 48. Its always easier for woman to get laid than blokes! Id maybe have expected a few failed short relationships because of her difficulties but not NONE whatsoever!! Does she live in some dodgy inbred village then???

From observing her (and ignoring media as it tends to sensationalise...) I would summerise that she has an issue with social interaction, perhaps due to her reclusive nature.
It would commonly be bracketed under the term of 'personality disorder'.

Spending many years with minimal human contact can distort ones perception of what is and isn't acceptable, and when the person behaves in a manner society see as 'unaceptable', the person is seen as 'strange' 'mad' 'odd'. She does not see anything wrong/odd in her reactions to a social stimulus that she is ill equiped to handle.
Medication is of no use (except to aleviate the anxiety she must be suffering as a result of being thrust into an environment that is totally alien to her.). Gradual reintroduction to social situation, the building of life skills and the adoption of a close circle of trusted friends, as well as the services of a cognative therapist may be able to help her.
Personally I think she has coped well so far and I wish her the best of luck.
