Default just had this dodgy email off a pf member

thing is Im not sure if it's some dodgy spamming con as I have never bought any speakers of anyone on the net nor complained about it lol

here it is

Hi Stephen.

Just saw your post on passion ford about the speakers I sent you saying you were going to ring my neck.

Not impressed but understandable. I have had nothing but trouble from eBay myself and have lost £10000's due to people complaining and getting refunds even though I say clearly I take 28 days to deliver.

I would appreciate if you could amend or wipe the message or say what a decent bloke I am instead as I could do without the negative publicity. I am a decent honest bloke who has been conned out of 100000's for offering very reasonably priced goods to decent buyer.

I think the least you can do is respond.

Regards,

Paul

sounds like a scam
not sure how but a scam none the less
its just cause he says "i think the least you can do is respond"
something about that just smells fishy to me
dont reply and report it
unless of course you've bought some speakers recently that you've forgot about

The "I think the least you can do is respond" line is very odd given the context, not a mate on a wind-up by any chance?

On the contrary, I think it is precisely what he should do: Respond.

Something like:

"Where would you like my bank details sending you scamming cunt?"

No, I agree that he should respond, but the way the bloke almost begs for a reply is as though it's a mate looking for material to take the piss with.

This scam works when you see he has refunded thousands of pounds and he thinks he owes you for the speakers. You try your luck and ask for your money back and he agrees asking for your bank details. It works by using reverse pshycology.

I think I am right, lol.

Offer him your bank details and a full refund for the speakers and the thousands he's lost on ebay over the years........can't say fairer than that.
